© Sebastian Oliel-WHO/PAHO: The National Institute of cancer (INCAN) of Mexico offres since 2007 care and treatment free to all women with breast cancer. Since then thousands of Mexicans have detected it and treated on time, surviving the disease.

Who We Are

The mission of the NCD Alliance is to unite and strengthen civil society to stimulate collaborative advocacy, action and accountability for NCD prevention and control. Our unique civil society network unites 2,000 organisations in more than 170 countries.

Together with strategic partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN) and governments, the NCD Alliance is transforming the fight against NCDs. This section introduces the diverse members of our global network.

NCD Alliance Structure

In 2017, NCDA made an important step forward, evolving from an informal alliance to a stand-alone NGO registered in Switzerland with a President, Board of Directors and consolidated membership base.

Today, our network includes NCDA members, national and regional NCD alliances, over 1,000 member associations of our founding federations, other global and national civil society organisations (CSOs), scientific and professional associations, and academic and research institutions.
